Thousands of years ago a great war was fought between the forces of good and the forces of evil. Zordon, a great and powerful wizard led the forces of good, and Rita Repulsa, a horrible witch, led the forces of evil. For years the battle raged, but the war ended in a tie, so Rita and Zordon decided to flip five magic coins, to see who would control the universe. It was so popular that feature films, book publishing, toys and other merchandise soon followed. All the toys were made by Bandai.
