Madeline
is a character from series of books written by Ludwig
Bemelmans. The story has delighted children since it
was first published in 1939 and it has even been made
into a major motion picture starring Hatty Jones and
Frances McDormand. The story revolves around a a little
girl named Madeline. Madeline is the smallest girl in
her Catholic School class of 12. Redheaded young girl
Madeline is very good at getting into trouble, but she's
also fantastic in solving problems as well, and her
school-mistress Miss Clavel is not too approving of
her.
