The Jetsons live in the 21st century when automation and robotic gadgets make life easier but no less comic. The Jetsons were the third Hanna-Barbera cartoon to air in prime time. Sort of a futuristic Flintstones, the family consisted of George Jetson the father, Jane, his wife, daughter Judy, his boy Elroy, their talking dog Astro, & a robot maid named Rosey.
Even though everything is made simple by push button control, everyone seems to think it's hard work. George works for Spacely Sprockets, a company that makes.....sprockets.
