Information
Flamingos
are found next to or in saltly lagoons and lakes. They
don't like to be disturbed. A flamingo is known for
their skinny, long legs, and curved beak and neck. Most
flamingos stand from 3 to 5 feet tall. The color of
their feathers are light pink except for some black
winged feathers. Flamingos get their food from the water.
They eat insects, algae, mollusks, and crustacean. Mollusks
are shell fish. Flamingos also feed on small organisms
that are found in muddy water.
