Information
Cows
are one of the most important animals that people rely
on. We get our cheese, milk and meat from these great
big animals. Today's domesticated cattle are descendents
of a primitive form of ox that lived in europe and the
middle east in the bc time period. They were called
Aurochs and they used to live in forests. No one knows
when cows were first domesticated by humans but we do
know that at about 2750 bc there were different types
of domesticated cattle. The same ones that are around
today.
