Cockroaches
are commonly found in our homes and workplaces. Because
cockroaches are so comfortable living with people, it
is hard to control them unless you know some facts about
them. Proper sanitation will limit the cockroach population.
If you have them in your home you should not leave any
unwashed dishes or uncovered food out for them to find
at night. The are also drawn to sweet liquids so clean
up and juice or cola spills. You should also keep arean
behind appliances and other loose objects clean of all
crumbs. Remeber, if there is no food for the cockroach
to find they will go away on their own. Kitchen waste
should be kept in a cockroach proof container as should
all loose food in your cupboards. If you feed your pets
indoors, you should not leave pet food or water in exposed
areas overnight. You can prevent cockroaches from coming
into your house by sealing all cracks in your houses
external foundation that are 1/8 of an inch or bigger.
