With the Cabbage Patch Kids, children were able to feel that they were getting a real baby. Each doll came with a unique birth certificate and adoption papers. Children across the world felt they had a baby to call their own. Their outfits consisted of a disposable diaper, booties or white socks and either t-strap or lace up vinyl shoes, and a huge variety of clothing with different colors and fabrics. These outfits included rompers, dresses, sleepers, jogging suites, football sweats, and casual attire. Each child had a unique name that was listed on their adoption papers.
