Information
The
bobcat gets its name from its stumpy tail and they Bobcats
are likely to be seen during the day only in the winter
when food is scarce. Bobcats are good swimmers, but
they rarely go into the water. Although, on hot days,
they sit, not swim, in pools of water to keep cool.
The farther North bobcats live, the larger they grow.
In Canada, they are the largest. Bobcat kittens can
be tamed and are sometimes kept as pets.
