The
Banana Splits Adventure Hour (aka The Banana Splits
and Friends Show). The Banana Splits served as hosts
for three cartoons and one live-action segment that
aired on their half hour variety show. The four main
segments that aired on their program include: The Arabian
Knights, The Three Musketeers, Micro Ventures and Danger
Island (live-action).
Other Hanna-Barbera favorites, especially those from
The Atom Ant Show and The Secret Squirrel occasionally
appeared on this hour long program. Each Banana Split:
Bingo, Fleegle, Drooper and Snork had their own dune
buggy that resembled their personality traits. The Splits:
Bingo: Drummer and a Gorilla Drooper: Droopy Dog and
Guitarist Fleegle: Beagle, Bass Player and Leader of
Gang Snork: Elephant and Plays Keyboard
