The
Archies gang is made up of Archie Andrews, Jughead (Forsythe)
Jones, Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, and Reggie Mantel.
Archie is of course the unspoken leader of the gang
and Reggie is his rival. Archie is also caught up in
an eternal love triangle with the two female members
of the band, Betty and Veronica.
After all these years, Archie still spends the majority
of his time chasing after Veronica, being chased after
by Betty, and being hounded by Jughead for burgers.
Although the plot never seems to change, Archie has
amused, amazed, and surprised readers for over fifty
years, and he's still going strong.
