Alf was a pop-culture phonemenon for a while. You could see his furry face everywhere! He had t-shirts, stuffed animals, lunch pails, etc. He was very popular and I think everyone found certain things about the show that made them watch each and every week. It was addicting. Everyone waited to see how long Alf could live with an American family and not be found out. Especially, with such noisey neighbors!
Alf was always very curious about the world around him. He would go out of the house and risk being caught, so that he could check things out. Cats were also a favourite of Alf's. He would chase the family cat. "Here Kitty, Kitty." The cat always seemed to get away, though.
